Sinusitis is a commonly occurring infection in Americans. While medical treatment helps most people, surgical therapy is sometimes needed.

Thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer may require part of or all of the thyroid gland to be removed for treatment.

Nasal obstruction can be caused by a deviated septum. When refractory to medical treatment, surgery can correct the deviation and improve nasal breathing.
